Gorgeous vintage botanical book set 'Pohjolan kasvit' in the Finnish language from 1964. Based on the book 'Nordens Flora' by C.A.M. Lindman. Includes all three parts of the set.
Combined the three books have 663 pages of beautiful illustrations of Scandinavian wild flowers and other plants and 614 pages of descriptions to accompany each one. The names of the plants in Finnish and Latin are at the bottom of each illustration.
Hard bound with beautiful green fabric covers, the pages are printed on good quality, slightly thicker paper.
One book measures approx.
6.1 x 9.25 inches | 15.5 x 23.5 cm.
In good vintage condition, show some signs of use and wear (a few small dents on covers/sides of the books). No pencil marks on pages.
